The Youth shape has a slightly wider ski from tip to tail. The extra width enables getting up and out of the water easier while giving a nice stable ski to manouver. The twin rail bottom design provided better tracking and gives the skis a better edging ability.
The inserted tip allows the addition of a stabilizer bar for extra help in keeping the skis straight and get the novis skier up on the water and skiing quicker.
